Hibernate by the Water

Set along the bush-lined curves of the Hawkesbury River, the outdoor spaces at Calabash Bay Lodge by Wild Luxury show how less can truly be more. Here, the landscape does the talking—but Hibernate pots shape the conversation.

With clean lines, neutral tones, and sculptural silhouettes, our pots bring structure without noise. On upper decks, the soft, rounded forms of the 86 Degrees and 87 Degrees pots in Salt offer a gentle contrast to hard surfaces, planted with coastal grasses and low-growing natives to echo the terrain. Their lightweight fiberglass construction makes them ideal for elevated terraces where weight, weather, and wind are factors.

Further down, on a shaded timber deck, two more 86 Degrees pieces hold their own among glass balustrades and angular furniture. One planted with clipped greenery, the other with layered, moody foliage—they don’t ask for attention. They simply hold space with quiet clarity.

What makes this setting work isn’t just the view—it’s the restraint. Every pot is placed with purpose. Some are clustered, others stand alone. Each plays a role in reinforcing a sense of calm and order.

This is what Hibernate does best: offering pieces that are sculptural but subtle, versatile but grounded. Fiberglass construction makes them a natural fit for Australia’s changing conditions—resilient in sun, spray, and wind—but it’s their visual fluency that elevates them. Whether set against water, bush, or stone, they settle in without needing to shout.

No clutter. No excess. Just thoughtful forms, considered planting, and the confidence to let nature lead.
