What is your returns policy?

Once your products are out of Hibernation and we have packed your order, we cannot make changes.

We do not offer returns or refunds if you change your mind. We ask that you take your time to choose your order so that you are happy with your selection.

Do you deliver across Australia?

We organise freight costs for all orders and can ship to all areas across Australia.

Does delivery include unpacking, product placement and rubbish removal?

We organise couriers who deliver to the door on ground level for general orders. Unpacking, product placement or rubbish removal is not provided by third-party couriers.

For larger orders, we can organise a quote for a removalist that can provide this service; just let us know when you place your order.

What happens if my pots arrive damaged?

Oh no! If your pots arrive damaged, please take some photos and send these to hello@hibernateoutdoors.com.au within 24 hours, and we can organise a replacement to be sent. If we are out of stock, we can chat about other options or provide a refund if these are unsuitable.

Do you have a retail shop?

No, we sell our range online. Our office is located at Botany (Sydney), if you would like to see the range an appointment can be organised.

Do you sell plants?

We love plants, but we do not sell them. We recommend that you visit your local nursery or garden centre or seek assistance from a professional landscape designer or horticulturist.

How are your pots made, and what are they made of?

Our pots are handcrafted. Each product will have slight imperfections and colour variations. They are made from reinforced fibreglass, which makes them durable and lightweight.

Do the pots have drainage holes?

No, but at your request, we can put these in. Select this option when completing your order.

How do I pot up?

Start with your pot, plants, good quality potting mix, drainage material and slow-release fertiliser.

Check if you have drainage holes that are not blocked. Place a single layer of shade cloth in the base of the pot; this keeps the drainage hole getting blocked.

Select your location and place your pot feet on the ground, placing your pot on top. This allows water to drain freely. Fill with your potting mix, and chat to your nursery about the best mix for the plants you are installing. Don’t overfill the potting mix to allow room for your plant.

Carefully remove the plant from the nursery pot by pushing from the base or cutting the pot. Place the plant and ensure your potting mix soil sits at the same level as the soil in the nursery pot. You do not want the plant stem to be covered. Water your plant and top up the soil if needed. Adding slow-release fertiliser (we sell an organic range on our site) feeds your plants with lots of goodies.

And now remember to water your plant when needed.

Do you sell other products?

Yes, we sell a curated selection of outdoor accessories such as garden stools, tools, plant care products, beach accessories, umbrellas and all good things to enjoy the outdoors.

We have also designed and manufactured a range of letters and numbers and fire drums.
