Hanging planters solve a specific problem: a room or balcony where every square metre is already spoken for. They lift greenery into the vertical plane - down a stairwell, along a pergola, above a kitchen bench - and they do it with far less load on a fixing point than a ceramic pot of the same size.

Our hanging pots come in both cylinder and U jar profiles, each supplied with your choice of 400mm or 600mm wires so the drop can be matched to the ceiling height rather than compromised around it. The shorter drop suits a kitchen bench or a low pergola; the longer works in a stairwell, a void or a double-height space where a short drop would disappear.

Weight matters more here than anywhere else in the range. Because each pot is handmade from fibreglass rather than ceramic or concrete, these suspended planters put significantly less load on a hook, a rendered ceiling or a pergola beam - which makes them safer to install and easier to reposition. They suit trailing species particularly well, and grouped at staggered drops along a beam or a balcony edge they create depth that floor-level planting cannot.
