An indoor pot has a harder job than an outdoor one. It sits at eye level, in a room you have already furnished, and it has to look considered from every angle rather than disappear into planting. Every shape shares the same ten colours, so pots bought at different times still read as a set. Because the finishes are unglazed and matte, they sit quietly against timber, render and textiles rather than reflecting light back into the room.
