The 87 Degrees U Jar takes its name from the gentle curve that draws the form inward toward its base, giving these u shaped planters a lifted, almost weightless look. It is the most sculptural shape we make and the most forgiving - the profile flatters trailing plants, structural greenery and single specimens equally.

The range runs from low and wide through to tall and slim, so the same shape can sit as a centrepiece on an outdoor table or stand full height beside a doorway. Hanging and non-hanging variations extend it further, with hanging versions supplied with a choice of 400mm or 600mm wires for trailing greenery.

The U Jar planter is among the most popular pieces we make for cluster groupings, precisely because the tapered profile reads differently at every size — a group of three creates variation without needing a change in shape or colour. Available across the full colour palette including Clay, Salt, Slate, Stone, Dune, Iron and Olea. Like everything in the range, each contemporary plant pot is handmade from lightweight fibreglass, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and light enough to move as your planting matures.
