Say Hello to NoMud

Designing a new collection is always a journey. With NoMud, the creatives at Secret Gardens set out to craft planters that feel earthy and organic, yet remain lightweight, durable, and effortless to live with. The result is a range that brings texture and visual interest to outdoor spaces without overwhelming them.

Why NoMud?

The goal was to capture the tactile, sculptural quality of clay and concrete — without the weight or fragility. NoMud achieves this with polyfibre, a weather-resistant material that makes moving and styling your planters a breeze. Its name hints at what it isn’t, yet the range embodies all the grounded, natural character you’d expect from clay.

And the Finish?

Something entirely new. NoMud comes in four understated, earthy tones — Chalk, Flax, Char, and Peat — each with a finely textured surface that elevates the look and feel, adding subtle depth and warmth to any space.

Designed for Every Space

From balconies and courtyards to gardens and rooftops, NoMud’s sculptural forms and gentle textures bring effortless harmony to any outdoor setting, complementing styles from contemporary and coastal to urban and organic.

Versatile Shapes

Each NoMud range has its own personality:

  • 10 Degrees is gentle and understated, with soft curves that add quiet definition. Perfect on its own or in clusters, it brings subtle rhythm and dimension.

  • 86 Degrees is timeless and rounded, transitioning effortlessly from courtyard plantings to indoor displays. With multiple sizes, it encourages playful scale and confident styling.

  • 89 Degrees is bold and architectural, defined by sharp angles softened at the edges. Ideal for statement planting, it brings presence and sophistication to contemporary spaces.

Together, these shapes offer endless possibilities — whether as solitary statement pieces, clustered in groups, or layered with foliage for texture, rhythm, and impact.

Styling in Clusters

One of our favourite styling techniques is grouping pots in clusters. Varying heights and sizes create depth and visual interest, bringing foliage to life. While pots from the same range naturally complement each other, mixing shapes or finishes from different collections often produces the most striking, design-led moments.

Natural yet refined, softly sculptural yet thoroughly practical, this is a collection designed to work hard and lo ok good doing it.
