Wholesale & Trade Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hibernate. If you would like to apply for a wholesale or trade account, please see our terms of business.

  1. Wholesale clients are defined as selling directly to consumers through a retail outlet or online shop.
  2. Trade clients are defined as using products within their projects, such as architects, designers, landscape architects and designers, landscapers, builders, interior designers, commercial project managers, etc.
  3. Trade and wholesale discounts are confirmed following approval. Discounts are provided on the condition that Hibernate products are not sold below our recommended retail price without prior consultation.
  4. Payment:
    1. Holding products - we are happy to put your products into hibernation with a 50% deposit. Contact us at
    2. Online orders require full payment at the time of placing an order and prior to shipment.
  5. Defects and returns:
    1. We inspect all products prior to packing and shipping but are conscious we use third parties for deliveries and we want Hibernate products to be delivered in the same condition. If your products arrive damaged, take photos and send these to within 24 hours, and we can organise a replacement. We cannot accept any fault after 24 hours.
    2. We accept exchange for Hibernate products, provided they are unused and returned in their original packaging, without any damage, within 30 days of purchase to our warehouse in Sydney. If drainage holes have been included in pot orders, we cannot accept an exchange.
    3. If you change your mind after installation, unfortunately, Hibernate cannot accept returns, exchanges or provide a refund.
  6. Warranty
    1. Hibernate does not offer an ongoing warranty once the products are installed. This is due to the nature of the products and the exposure to the elements, water, soil etc.
    2. Full refunds, including shipping costs, will be available for a major fault/defect as per Australian Consumer Law.
    3. Any modifications or changes made to the products will automatically void all warranty.
    4. Should a valid warranty claim be made, Hibernate is not liable for any costs associated or incurred by the customer as a result of removing & re-installation of faulty products.
  7. Delivery
    1. Delivery is by courier and will be delivered to your door at street level.
    2. If you require assistance to carry pots inside or upstairs, unwrap and remove rubbish, we can organise a removalist, please notify us at
    3. If you select your own transportation, Hibernate is not liable for any claims against defects/damages to the products due to delivery.
    4. Once delivery is scheduled, please be available to take delivery. If you are not available to take delivery of the products as arranged, then return delivery fees will be charged.
